All about Elephants!

New Year means new goals for my business and lots and lots of new invites.  I have been trying to create all different kinds of invites in all different color options.
When it comes to my best sellers, Baby shower invites take the cake for sure.  I sell more baby shower invites than I do all other items/cards combined.  Of course an all time favorite seems to be elephants.  I have so many elephant invites and party package options in my shop.  The best thing about these invites is that they also make great birthday invites....especially 1st birthdays!

One of the newest and cutest invites I have created just has me excited about making more and more invitations for my shop.....

As always, thanks for stopping by!!!  I hope to find more time to update and keep on top of this site a little more but all the real action is going on over at my ETSY SHOP.

Wishing You A Merry Christmas....a little late:)

When you make Christmas cards for everyone else, your own cards get put on the back burner.  It was a great holiday season full of business for Cohen Lane.  We sold many digital Christmas cards and printed Christmas cards along with our regular invites still selling away.  What a great year this has been and I am looking forward to an even better year in 2014!!!
Thank you all so much for your business and support.

Lighting the Fire!

I went yesterday to my daughter's first conference of 5th grade.  Her teacher had me read a story that Rylee had wrote one day when they had to write about what they want to be when they grow up.  I almost cried setting right there reading it.  Her story was all about how she wants to grow up and do what I do and work with me at Cohen Lane.  WOW!
I guess I never really noticed how much attention she paid to me.  Here I was feeling guilty that all my kids were going to remember was me working on the computer all the time and yet my daughter wants to grow up and work side by side with me.
That has lite some sort of fire under me ever since the conference.  I am wanting to do more and grow my business more so that there is something great for her to come to when she is grown.  Right now, I work and run this little business all by myself.  I get overwhelmed and have to slow things down from time to time.  I have a really hard time letting go and giving someone else responsibility for this business b/c I love it with all my heart.  I think I just know that no one else can love this business and the meaning of this business as much as I do (all about Cohen...my angel baby) except my precious little girl who at the age of ten, is determined that this is where she will work.
Her last line in her writing said "I have always been told that if I do something I love for work, I will never work a day in my life".

Spooktacular Freebie and Fall Break!!!

The weather has turned very fall like here in Georgia and that makes me so super happy.  I will miss my flip flops but excited to pull out my boots:)
I have been stuck in the house all week with a feverish child and am so excited to take the weekend off to spend some time with my family.  I have closed up the Etsy shop from today through Sunday so that I can be completely unplugged with my kids while they are on fall break.
I have been wanting to do a free printable giveaway for a while but business has been....well it has been super busy so I am expecting to be caught up and refreshed coming back from a weekend off work (which never truly happens) and will be able to email out the printables quickly.

You will receive some cute PRINTABLE cupcake toppers or you can just use them as tags to add to your goodie bags and matching PRINTABLE cupcake wrappers.  Best part is you can save these to your computer and reuse them each year.

Please note that no physical item will be sent.  These are for digital printable items that you must print yourself.
I will only email printables to those that comment
BEFORE MONDAY MORNING!

Hope you all have a great fall like weekend and please be sure to come back and visit my etsy shop when it reopens on Sunday night!

Mustache Mint....Little Man Invite

I love this new Mustache invite.  It is perfect for a baby shower, your little man's birthday party or if you are like me and have a tween daughter that is crazy about mustaches, it will make the perfect tween party invite.    The best thing is that you don't have to stick with the minty blue color pictured, I can customize that for you.  Make it girly for your tween daughter or any color for your little man or little one on the way.

You can find the listing for the digital design in my etsy shop HERE!

Gender Neutral Baby Shower Invites

I have lots of gender neutral baby shower invites listed in my shop for those special Mommies that have way more willpower than me and decide to wait and let the sex of their baby be a surprise.  I always wanted to wait but just waiting until 20 weeks about did me in each time:)

I had a customer ask me to create this super cute little peanut invite for them.  I think it turned out great!
The best thing about this invite is that all the wording can be customized to make this a "Lil Peanut Gender Reveal" invite.

You can purchase the invite by clicking HERE!
